Today is one of the greatest days....

Although I train my mind into believing that there is no good or bad day, it is just our perspective that makes it feel good or bad. However, I can't help but think that today is one of the greatest days for me. Ask why? Since I work from home, every morning before starting my work, I scribble a set of viable points that I want to complete on that day. Most of the time, my goals are too ambitious, so I end up not even achieving half of it. Today as usual, I started writing few points realistically and was going to start my work, when got a call from the GEN magazine saying that I won a ipad for writing the best caption on why I read GEN magazine. I did not believe them immediately that is another thing, but when the feeling started sinking in, it felt better and better. I always wanted to win an ipad somehow. That is not all, I not only managed to complete all that I jotted down, but went little bit ahead of that. One of my papers was rejected and I appealed against the decision. It so happened that the editor decided to give me another chance. I sat and wrote responses to the critique no-3 who was the most fierce of all. This task was out my list for today. During lunch time, I managed to plug out several dried plants that were scheduled for removal for a long time now. At 5.55 PM went for a body pump class and completed all that I was unable to do earlier. Next came the Yoga class at 7 PM and back home at 8 PM. So, today is such a day that gives me a sense of fulfillment. I managed to do a number of things and few extra. The icing on this all is winning 2 successive chess games against computer without forcing it to go back. After all work is all life is about...
