Shouldn't apple be giving away iPads for free!!!!!!!!!!

I never won an iPad before. It just happened that I won an ipad3 for free. I may be wrong what I am saying here, but after using it for a week now, I am less than impressed with this toy. I won a small 12 inch laptop and that costed about 300 USD. I am not sure how much an iPad costs. But let me do a quick comparison between the two. Laptop(small): portability - very good, battery life very good, has all laptop like qualities. Ipad3: portability - very good, browser - needs some practice to get used to, battery life very good. Laptop: can you use for work - yes, very much so. Can also do remote login, listen to music, videos, print documents. iPad: severely limited when it comes to real time working. Did not figure out how to open and save a document, print it. You can watch videos but the sound is very faint. If you need anything, you have to go to iTunes to buy it, no free download I guess. Laptop: key boards are normal, with mouse overs, arrow keys, right clicks and many more iPad: I am yet to find a mouse over with iPad and arrow keys are non-existent. Only way to delete a character is to move cursor over and use back space. I don't think I like it. Laptop: games - you can certainly play games and even download many more. iPad: suppose to be good there, but yesterday when I saw a chess icon(my favorite game), I clicked on the game menu, that took me a while to register and not to mention the nicknames already taken warning messages. When I finally got there got hugely disappointed because there was no chess!!!! It however, prompted to buy games from iTunes. Laptop: what about songs? Well you can play music with ease with your laptop. iPad: takes you quickly to iTunes for music purchase. 99 cents per song. So if you had a collection of 5000 songs it would cost you a hooping $5000. Laptop: photographs and video recording - can be done very easily. iPad: you can distort images plus you can do what a laptop does. So now the question is if I were to pay for everything to iTunes, that I would otherwise get for free via open source and I am not having any extra benefits such as great browsing, video, battery time experience, why should I be buying this product in the first place? When apple can m ale so much money through iTunes by forcing people to buy through iPod, iPad, should they not give the medium( e.g; iPod and iPad) for free? Ironically, I am typing this rant from my new iPad. If there are any typos, then the credit should certainly go to this toy, because I have hard time in finding a spell checker. Also, the fonts are so tiny, that I can barely make out what I am typing. So people, unless you are given an iPad for free, I see absolutely no merit in buying one. It may be best for very small kids who would like to distort images than for any adult use!!!!!!!!!!!!
